My Way With Words

I've always wanted to create a Post which will list down all the new words i've learnt everyday.

I'm still thinking of a suitable title for this Blog.
Any suggestions?

1. Wuss
a weak or ineffectual person (often used as a general term of abuse)

2. Inexorable
impossible to stop or prevent

3. Jaded
tired, bored, or lacking enthusiasm, typically after having had too much of something

4. Excruciate
torment (someone) physically or mentally

5. Abscond
leave hurriedly and secretly, typically to avoid detection of or arrest for an unlawful action such as theft

6. Vertigo
a sensation of whirling and loss of balance, associated particularly with looking down from a great height, or caused by disease affecting the inner ear or the vestibular nerve; giddiness.

7. Contemptible
deserving contempt; despicable

8. Estrange
cause (someone) to be no longer close or affectionate to someone; alienate

9. Scintillating
sparkling or shining brightly, brilliantly and excitingly clever or skillful

10. Anatomy
the branch of science concerned with the bodily structure of humans, animals, and other living organisms, esp. as revealed by dissection and the separation of parts.

11. Apoptosis
the death of cells that occurs as a normal and controlled part of an organism's growth or development. Also called programmed cell death .

12. Haughty
arrogantly superior and disdainful; proud, arrogant, vain, conceited, snobbish, superior, self-important, pompous, supercilious, condescending, patronizing; scornful, contemptuous, disdainful; full of oneself, above oneself; informal stuck-up, snooty, hoity-toity, uppity, uppish, big-headed, high and mighty, la-di-da. antonym humble.

13. Disdainful
showing contempt or lack of respect

14. Coy
making a pretense of shyness or modesty that is intended to be alluring but is often regarded as irritating, reluctant to give details, esp. about something regarded as sensitive, dated quiet and reserved; shy.

15. Lame
(of a person or animal) unable to walk normally because of an injury or illness affecting the leg or foot, (of an explanation or excuse) unconvincingly feeble,uninspiring and dull, naive or inept, esp. socially, halting; metrically defective.

Do take note that all the words in this post are words i encounter everyday.
